Training: Electronics technician for devices and systems, specialising in information and communication technology devices<\/h1>\n

Communications electronics technicians work in the field of communications and information technology. They are responsible for the manufacture, assembly and operational reliability of devices, equipment and systems in the field of radio, telecommunications and information technology.<\/p>\n

Duration of training<\/strong>
3\u00bd years, shortening possible depending on previous school education (e.g. 1 year BGJ Electrical Engineering).<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong>
The majority of trainees recruited are those with an intermediate school leaving certificate and a subsequent school education in the electrotechnical field.<\/p>\n

1-2 times a week, depending on the duration of the training.

Intermediate examination in the spring of the 2nd year of training.

Activities<\/strong>
Manufacturing, testing, measuring, adapting, maintaining, commissioning and servicing devices, equipment and systems in the field of information and data technology, such as file and output systems, data processing and the associated control and regulating equipment.
